Sinatra to Harry Connick Jr., Judy Garland to Gershwin, Bobby Vinton to Big Bad Voodoo
Daddy, Bing Crosby to Tony Bennett, and yes.. .there's always something Elvis Presley. The
magazine is over 80 percent editorial and covers the international and Canadian
entertainment scene. We discuss happenings, Hollywood movies and music trivia and look
back to the golden era of Swing to the fabulous years of Rock'n' Roll and Motown.
The magazine lists up-coming concerts, dances and musical theatre.
Our Sentimental Journey travel section covers trips, tours and destinations.
Articles in BBW are written by profession journalists and music experts in Canada and the
U.S., many of whom are on-air radio hosts with their own programs.
Big Band World responds to a booming 50-plus demand for
quality entertainment. Music has a distinctive impact on all stages of a person's life and
plays an important role in creating fond memories. Accordingly, the magazine's target
market ranges from early baby-boomers re-discovering retro-Swing to seniors reliving
memorable moments of their lives. People in this age group have the time, interest and
financial ability to enjoy an active lifestyle. The 50-plus market is the fastest growing
segment of the population and also makes-up the largest percentage of consumers in the

Big Band World magazines readership is
